Blog-tastic
Hmm, so I picked a slideshow, and now it's showing random beach scenes. I like it, I just don't get it. Please enjoy the scenery.
The Wedding!
ANNOUNCEMENT! The date has been changed to October 3. (And we got a discount at the Glass Factory for being so easy going!! Alright)
Hello! Welcome to our website. Please take a moment to peak at our pictures and leave us a note of well-wishing. (if you have any awesome, embarrassing pictures of Charlie, drop them off so we can post them for everyone to see! If you have any awesome, embarrassing pictures of me, burn them.)
This is our spot to keep you in the know and (behind the scenes) keep track of our budget and our preparation for the Big Day.
Thanks to all of our friends and family that are a part of our lives everyday. Your humor/sarcasm, support, and Max-watching, are helping to keep us sane and happy. We love you guys very much.
How about the Story of Us? Well, I, of course, have been in love with Charlie since high school. He didn't even notice me until last November...kidding. We've always had this underlying interest in each other, since we met in Mr. Lauman's Home Room. (Lutz-McKenney...we were destined to be by the alphabetical seating chart.) OK, maybe Charlie's interest really piqued when he saw me slide out of my chair, under the desk, and then hit the floor with a fluid grace that only a freshman in high school can muster...right. So anyway, we went our seperate ways, me to the bustling Metropolis of Springfield, MO, but stayed in touch throughout. And each of us always had someone else to keep us occupied. Not that we didn't go on several "fake" dates in the mean time.
Then we made The Deal. If we hit 25 and we weren't married, we would marry each other. Can you believe 25 snuck up on us fairly quickly? The Deal was rehashed to 30 to allow more time. As it turns out, we will be married at the age of 28. Good thing, too, since we were going to have to get married to each other any way at 30. Now we feel a little more legit.
But to rewind a smidgeon, Charlie was my lamaze coach and helped Max make his grand entrance into the world. We had a crowd of 9 people in the room, but Charlie stayed by my side and tried to help me breath correctly and counted to 10 while I pushed. (PS, Thank you, Epidurral!) (PPS, I don't know how to spell that. Let's just call it the Jesus Juice.)
So here we are! We live in the happiest little house in the hood and we are both just about bursting at the seams to get married.
We are honored that you will be there to share in our day, and we are honored that you are probably bringing a gift...Kidding! Bring yourself, bring your memories of us, and let's all have a teary, hilarious, perfect day.
